Walker and Godfrey are trapped in the pumping station when it
is hit in an air-raid and as the platoon move in for the rescue
the situation becomes decidedly wet...
42 Keep Young and Beautiful
When it appears some of the platoons older members could
be drafted into the ARP, they take precautions in looking younger.
43 A Soldiers Farewell
Mainwaring gives the platoon a lesson in courtesy. He also
has a dream about Napoleon!
44 Getting the Bird
Walker acquires some off ration meat - pigeons and Wilson disappears!
As Captain Mainwaring gets to the root of the problems he doesn't
expect to find the answers at the Sunday morning Church Service!
45 The Desperate Drive of Lance
Corporal Jones
The platoon on exercise, face the danger of been blown up in
target practice and only Jones & Godfrey can save them,
that's if they're quick enough !

Frazer takes command of the platoon and gets Captain Mainwaring
into a predicament it would seem only Frazer can save him from.
All, however, is not as it would seem.

Security measures are taken when the Bank is hit by a bomb and
every surviving penny must be counted !

The platoon run to help gather in the harvest which culminates
in a drunken thanksgiving.

Jones' savings for the aircraft fund have disappeared and turned
into half a pound of sausages.
50 Brain Versus Brawn
The platoon take on a camouflage disguise as firemen and find
themselves putting out a real fire.

Someone has left the light on at the church hall, Hodges is
after Mainwaring's blood and the only thing that can save the
Captain in a court case is "honesty, truth and integrity",
but first he has to convince the juror, which is lead by Captain
Square!!
52 Round and Round Went the
Great Big Wheel
A top secret war weapon goes disastrously wrong and threatens
the safety of Walmington on Sea. Only the Home Guard can save
the day.
53 Time On My Hands
A German Parachutist becomes entangled on the Town Hall
clock and it only becomes a matter of time before Mainwaring's
platoon become marooned there too!
